Must Try Items:
- Dou Jiang 豆漿 – Sweet or Salty (NT$22) – Dou jiang = Soy Bean Milk, a Breakfast staple in Taiwan, And this place makes some of the best. Sweet or Salty (with preserved radish, bits of Fried dough(you tiao 油條), and Seaweed) you really can’t go wrong with either choice!
- Fan Taun 飯糰 – Salty Rice Roll (NT$30) – Sticky rice w/ Fried dough (you tiao 油條), salty radish, and salty preserved pork – My favorite by far of all the Traditional Chinese breakfast items.
- Sao Bing 燒餅 – flat thin pancake like bread (NT$30-45) – Probably one of the best places to get this item, you can get it with egg, you tiao, or just plain. I like the egg option best. Because it’s made thin, it has great texture, crisp on the outside, and soft when you bite into it.
